- Coordinate team actions during IROPs
- Drive process changes and the adoption of new tools across the team
To do so, these individuals will partner with other team members on projects, communicate effectively, build cross-divisional partnerships, and maintain a strong operational foundation. This role will be predominantly shift based and may encompass weekends to support the 24/7 nature of operations technology. The successful candidates will be trained in legacy systems and will be expected to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of both next-generation technology and the legacy systems to manage operational disruption, while also serving as a real time end user of next generation products to solve complex operational problems.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
- Partner cross divisionally with crew technology owners, Flight Operations and IFS stakeholders, diverse IT teams, and analytics partners to provide meaningful feedback and development direction based on operational utility of optimization solutions as well as adherence to business rules, applicable FARs, and cost and safety conscious practices
- Serve as subject matter expert in not just matters of PWA, FAR 117 and 121, FAWR, and Delta procedures but also demonstrate an ability to easily translate these concepts into readily implementable solutions in partnership with product management and IT as part of the Agile delivery cycle

- Assist in defining the value of new functionality and ensure that the product meets the needs and goals of Crew Resources and crew members
- Operate with comfort in legacy systems and processes to identify areas of improvement
- Develop subject matter expertise for crew related data and systems that can be translated into optimal design and development
- Flexibility as projects and tasks required change from day to day and week to week
- Model Deltas Rules of the Road and core values
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
