Just Plane Maintenance is seeking a Maintenance Records & Compliance Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative, documentation, and compliance functions of our FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
This role is primarily administrative in nature but plays a critical part in ensuring all maintenance records, documentation, and communications align with FAA regulatory requirements and company procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in aviation, preferably within a Part 145 environment, and a strong attention to detail.
This position works closely with the Accountable Manager, Quality team, and customers to ensure accurate documentation, smooth communication, and a high level of service throughout the maintenance process.
Key Responsibilities:
Records & Compliance Support
- Review and organize aircraft maintenance records for accuracy and completeness
- Identify documentation discrepancies and assist in tracking corrections
- Upload, file, and maintain maintenance records in company systems
- Ensure documentation aligns with FAA Part 145 requirements and internal procedures
- Support audit readiness by maintaining clean, complete, and accessible records
- Assist with documentation requests during FAA inspections or internal reviews
Administrative & Operational Coordination
- Support daily shop operations through administrative coordination
- Assist with scheduling updates and work order tracking
- Coordinate internally to ensure technicians and inspectors have required documentation
- Maintain organized records of work orders, logs, and supporting documents
Communication & Customer Support
- Support a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely documentation
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth handoffs between departments
Team & Leadership Support
- Work closely with the Accountable Manager and Quality team to support compliance efforts
- Assist with maintaining training records, rosters, and required documentation
- Support general administrative tasks related to repair station operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in aviation required (Part 145 Repair Station experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with maintenance records, logbooks, and FAA documentation
- Basic understanding of FAA regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with maintenance systems (Corridor a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma required; associate degree or aviation-related training preferred
- 2–5 years of relevant aviation or administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX
