As the HR Specialist – Shared Services (Emiratisation), you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience across all HR Shared Services (HRSS) activities. You will ensure services are provided within agreed timeframes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through effective manpower planning and deployment. In this role, you will provide functional expertise in HRSS processes within your designated area, while driving, monitoring, and continuously improving administrative activities to ensure full compliance with HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively evaluate both day of ops and long term workload and manpower requirements considering operational changes and organizational growth. Adjust deployment to meet delivery and customer service expectations.
- Manage special projects within respective area of HRSS aimed at improving processes and procedures, ensuring productivity improvement at individual and team level in order to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Propose and implement functional system changes across multiple systems, in liaison with the Business Support Group team. Implement process changes which align with best practice and are adapted for maximum productivity. Participate in testing the accuracy of these systems to ensure they comply with HR requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external customers ensuring their expectations are clearly understood and their requirements are accurately met according to agreed SLAs. Proactively rectify problems and identify recurring problem areas to ensure effective solutions are defined and delivered by the team.
- Accountable for all HRSS documentation, including SOPs, internal processes, system help etc. by implementing all changes and ensuring updates are promptly and clearly documented and communicated to the team.
- Handle complex queries, escalations and requests for exceptional information from senior management, employees, legislative authorities and other external service providers.
QualificationYou will be considered for this role if you have:
- A Degree or Honours (Level 123) or equivalent in a Human Resources-related qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role at a supervisory or specialist level within a People Operations function.
- Proven experience working with multiple HR systems, drafting SOPs, and driving productivity improvements.
- Strong leadership background with experience in mentoring and developing direct reports.
- In-depth knowledge of complex HR and ERP systems, with hands-on experience in system transformation and implementation.
