As part of Ontic’s global Operations community, you’ll play a key role in driving Operational Excellence, one of our core strategic pillars. You’ll help Ontic effectively deploy its assets, including inventory, capital, and people, and deliver on customer and stakeholder expectations.

In this onsite role, you’ll define, create, and maintain data models, reports, and visualisations that enable meaningful business insights across all sites. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll support the development of consistent metric definitions, create a common terminology, and align key attribute sets while serving as a data owner and steward.

This is a hands-on and collaborative role that bridges technical expertise with business understanding. You’ll engage with stakeholders across departments, acting as the conduit between the supply chain and global data teams to ensure data insights drive informed decision-making.

Key aspects of your role include developing dashboards and datasets that support Sales Inventory and Operations Planning, core operational metrics, and continuous improvement tracking.

You’ll contribute to data governance, audit data pipelines, and maintain the accuracy of Ontic’s supply chain data dictionary. Ultimately, you’ll transform data into valuable insights that empower leaders and teams to make better, faster, and smarter decisions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with experience working within a low-volume, high-mix global supply chain environment. You’ll have strong knowledge of operations and supply chain KPIs, and proficiency in data warehousing, modelling, and analytics.

You’ll be highly skilled in building data models using Kimball Dimensional Modelling techniques and experienced with cloud data warehouses (ideally Snowflake). You’ll also have strong programming experience in SQL, familiarity with DBT for transformation, and expertise in Power BI — including DAX, M-Query, and DevOps cycles.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you’ll translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll be proactive, organised, and detail-oriented — with a natural curiosity for solving problems and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity, security, and compliance (including GDPR and PII principles).
